Karazhan!

So, Lightlance and I totally led a squadron to Karazhan last night. It was totally amazing - whereas it used to take us FOREVER to explore the tower, we cleaned out the whole place in under 3 hours! It was pretty amazing. Of course, we didn't find any of the rare, interesting treasures I was looking for, like enchanting recipes or that one cloak the Prince likes to wear sometimes. But it was still fun.

I kept an eye out for Pizmo the whole time. Given that we were in every room in the tower last night and there was no sign of him, I think that means I can scratch this place off my list. Sigh.

Silvermoon is full of fail

Kay, so like, we were here for a freaking WEEK. And I swear we explored every little nook and cranny in that city. I found out that Silvermoon has two auction houses, one creepy government, and more gay bars than normal ones. I also found out that the backbone of their entire textiles industry is a bevel of leper gnomes under tight supervision of a succubus. I ALSo found out that the blood knights' pet Naaru had escaped, which is interesting. But no Pizzy. Or any Alliance prisoners, really; I guess maybe they leave prisoner taking to the orcs or something like that.

So, we poked around the rest of Eversong Woods, but there wasn't really anything there. I knew
we weren't going to find anything. I guess it was good to get away, get my mind off things and stuff, and Gren and Mel are totally amazing and awesome friends for helping out and stuff, but... yeah. Now what?

The search begins!

OK, so, we totally spent the night in the Hatchet Hills, and then we rode all the way up through the Ghostlands to the Eversong Woods, with lots of zombies following us trying to eat our brains. It was so weird when we crossed that river - it was like totally stepping into another world! So, we headed up the Dead Scar (where Arthas totally marched with his undead army) and investigated anything that looked vaguely interesting, but all we met were blood elves who were totally scared of us.

I guess they alerted some guards or something, cause these two sexually ambiguous elves in armor come running up to us and are like, what are you doing, and then they start the whole mana tap thing, and I'm like, DUDE. You are SO not even sucking my magic. So we kinda beat them up and made a run for it.

We decided to totally camp out in the Ruins of Silvermoon, because no one ever goes there. It might have to do with the really creep Wretched guys who run around and really do try to suck your magic like all the time, but they're pretty weak from their addiction so it's not like they're hard to take care of.

We've got a pretty good setup, I think. Melryn can send his cat sneaking around, and Grenny can totally Mind Vision people, and I can send my Eye of Kilrogg around, and I totally brought invisibility potions if we totally need to go in person. If Pizmo's in this city, we are so totally gonna find him.

A quick trip north

So, I totally met up with Grenny and Mel-Mel, and we went to Ironforge to Pizzy's workshop! I figured if Melryn was gonna do any tracking or anything, then he'd need somewhere to start, right? So we go in there, and we're looking at his papers, and like, they're all graphy and confusing and everything.

THEN all these Alarm-o-bots and Crowd Pummelers come in, and this dude with a pink beard is all, you guys are totally TRESPASSING, get outta here before I call the cops! So we totally scoot, and the only thing that I still have in my hands is one of my letters. I can't even tell if it's recent or not. And Melryn smells it and is like, "Smells like a flower from Quel'Thalas! Let's go!" And I'm like, huh? But OK, whatever.

So, we get on the gryphon to fly to the Hatchet Hills, cause that's the closest we can get, and I swear it's like the world's longest gryphon ride. Well, OK, I guess Booty Bay to the Hatchet Hills would be the world's longest gryphon ride, but still! So, I'm thinking about this letter. Why would Pizmo have a letter that smelled like a flower in Quel'Thalas? Why would he be up there, and why would he have come back? And why a FLOWER and not, like, bloodthistle or something? Maybe he was diddling some little tramp on the side, and that's totally her scent. That would explain why I haven't heard a damn word from him for over a month.

But... that didn't really explain why the scent was on a letter that I WROTE!!! I mean, Pizmo can be kind of clueless sometimes, but I don't think he's dumb enough to read a letter from one girlfriend in the presence of another. Unless they were totally laughing at me. Oh geesh. I'm gonna be sick.

OK, so, we totally dominate the eagle dude and the bear dude, but this lynx guy had just been kicking our butt WEEK AFTER WEEK! I mean, the squadron was totally stuck on him before I even came and took over! He just hits real hard, and he sometimes summons this lynx spirit thing that eats people, and he has this totem that totally zaps everyone dead. But this week, somehow, we totally got it figured out and he is TOTALLY OURS now! Yeah!

As a voice from the dust

Oh my GOSH, so evidently my life isn't over-dramatic ENOUGH! So, I get a note from Bellesta, saying that she'd been contacted by some guy who said he was Zandramas' adopted son. Say WHAT? It HAD to have happened after he left me because seriously, there's no way he could have kept me in the dark about something like THAT. AND, evidently it was Zanny's dying wish to this adopted son that he track me down or whatever. What the heck?

I'm really nervous. I really don't want to deal with Zandramas or any of his relations again. Where is my Pizmo when I need him?

Duerma Whistlescrew... mage?

Kay, so, this morning I was totally talking to Imble and she was telling me about how she had totally learned some warlocky magic and it wasn't too different from magey magic, and one thing led to another and she suggested that I try learning magey magic because it's totally fun. And at first I was like, oh come on, whatever.

But then I thought about it, and the more I thought, the more it sounded like fun. I mean, I'd have to think of a decent solution for my narcolepsy problem - without an imp to help me out, things could get kinda dicey. But think how impressed Pizmo would be! He'd think it was so totally cool that I was trying to figure out one of his major interests and everything, and if I got good at it, then I could be Duerma the mage instead of Duerma the warlock, which is a lot more socially acceptable I guess.

So, here I go into the world of magecraft!
